Here it is, the long awaited apartment tour of our Salem apartment. Take a walk with me through our new home.

as you probably remember, the front of our house. You walk in this door and up some stairs and to the apartment (we have the second and third floor on one side of the building)

Walk through our apartment door and see this. The only difference now is that we added an area rug. 

Walk in a few more steps, turn around and you see this, minus the junk! haha (although sometimes you will see our trash here)

Where we eat our meals. When guests visit we pull the table out.

It's not a huge kitchen, but it is big compared to our past kitchens, and we have lots of counter space which is good.

Here are the stairs. If you look at the above picture, I was sitting on these stairs when I took it.

The stairs lead you to a landing which has a little hallway on the right with our shower room and toilet room (plus my closet on the left side) 

The shower room. No pictures of the toilet room, but I am sure you can use your imagination and picture it.

Right when you get up the stairs, the bedroom is in front of you through a sliding door (there are some strange doors in this house) If you look at the back right hand side of this picture you see the office door through the bedroom. There are not pictures of the office, as it is not presentable in the least!

And that is our apartment, minus the office. It is a good size and we really feel like we are home now. I LOVE having a good sized bedroom and two working fireplaces. If you notice, the bedroom and the living room are nearly identical. The bedroom is directly above the living room. In the future I will post some sights from the area around our apartment so those who live far away can get a better feel of what our city is like.
